About Jeni A Shull Clayton, MD

Many of the chronic conditions family medicine physicians encounter are linked to the way patients eat, move and deal with stress. Jeni Clayton, MD, MPH, uses lifestyle medicine as the foundation for treatment of chronic disease, with medications and medical interventions being used as necessary. Dr. Clayton encourages and empowers patients to live healthier lives by addressing nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management and the avoidance of harmful substances.

“I chose family medicine for the opportunity to work with adults and children. I chose preventive and lifestyle medicine because 80 percent of the chronic conditions we treat in medicine are tied to how we eat, move and deal with stress. I love working with patients and empowering them through lifestyle changes and medical treatments to live healthy lives. ”
