Terri T Powell, NP

I started off in healthcare as a registered dietitian nutritionist and have maintained those credentials. I am enthusiastic about the role nutrition and physical activity play in overall health and well-being throughout the lifespan. I completed a fellowship in geriatrics and am passionate about optimizing health and wellness as we age.

I chose to focus on caring for patients who are 13 years of age and older because I am passionate about health and wellness, and it is within this age group that I can best assist patients in optimizing their health through lifestyle modifications and pharmacological interventions if indicated. I chose to practice at Riverview Health because it is a friendly environment where all staff work together to ensure positive outcomes for the patients.

In my free time, I really enjoy spending time with my family, reading, walking my three dogs and vacationing at the beach.
