Riverview Health

As a county-owned hospital, Riverview Health serves the needs of all individuals in its community.

Riverview Health continually identifies health priorities for those in Hamilton and Tipton counties and works to provide solutions aimed at keeping the community healthy. By analyzing our Community Health Needs Assessment, we're able to determine how to better serve our community. Each year, Riverview Health provides millions of dollars in uncompensated care.

Riverview Health offers a number of free educational classes and seminars, providing valuable health information to people in the community. We also partner with other healthcare institutions to provide easy access to healthcare resources. View our Classes & Events.

In September 2015, Riverview Health began a partnership with Janus Developmental Services, operator of Hamilton County Express Public Transit (HCE), to offer a new bus transportation program to our patients. The program, called Riverview Health Rides, transports patients to and from their appointments at any of our 29 Riverview Health locations. Riverview Health Rides operates Monday through Friday between 7 am and 5 pm and Saturday from 7 am to 1 pm. One-way and round-trip rides are $5 in exact change, and a $55 monthly pass is also available. Individuals with medical appointments at a Riverview Health location who wish to schedule a ride can call 317.473.2323.
