Rollie's Story: Enjoying Life Without Knee Pain

After retirement, Rita Smith decided to reward herself with a trip to Florida, but her knees were in so much pain, she couldn’t walk on the beach. She knew something had to be done. In April 2013, she had an Exactech GPS knee replacement procedure on her left knee by Riverview Health orthopedic surgeon Jeffrey Ginther, MD, FACS, and it went so well, she booked her right knee replacement for August 2013. Now, she can do almost anything. Walking on the beach doesn’t bother her anymore, and she can get back to doing the things she loves.
