Friends and Family CPR Class

Friends and Family CPR Class

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) can be a life-saving measure until a person is treated by a medical professional. You can be prepared to help someone in need by learning how to give CPR.

The American Heart Association Family & Friends CPR course teaches adult hands-only CPR, adult CPR with breaths, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR, and mild and severe airway block for adults, children, and infants.

Family & Friends CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a CPR certifcation to meet a job or other requirement. This course is ideal for community groups, new parents, grandparents, babysitters and others interested in learning how to save a life.

In this class you will:

  • Use AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which improves learning and retention
  • Participate in group interaction and feedback while learning skills
  • Receive high-quality course materials for ongoing reference and a course completion card (not an official certification)
