Hospital Report Card
The Riverview Hospital Report Card has the primary purpose of ensuring that statewide hospital data and clinical outcomes are made available to the general public in a clear and usable manner. Our priority is to uphold a statewide commitment to hospital quality improvement, accountability and transparency. Hospital Compare Scorecard
Hospital Compare Scorecards provide individuals with information on how well the hospitals in their area care for all their adult patients with certain medical conditions. This information helps individuals compare the quality of care hospitals provide. Hospital Compare was created through the efforts of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and organizations that represent hospitals, doctors, employers, accrediting organizations, other Federal agencies and the public. Riverview Hospital provides Scorecard information - gathered through a third party - to CMS.
Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program
The American Osteopathic Association's Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP) has been providing medical facilities with an objective review of their services since 1945. The program, which has also been accrediting healthcare facilities for over 30 years under Medicare, is recognized nationally by the federal government, state governments, insurance carriers and managed care organizations.
Accreditation by HFAP ensures that a hospital is in compliance with national patient safety goals and quality indicators.
