Volunteer Opportunities

One of the key elements in supporting the work of the Foundation is the financial generosity of the community, but as importantly, is the generosity of one’s time. The spirit of volunteerism is alive and well in our community as well as at Riverview Hospital Foundation. Whether you like to help at one of the many Foundation events, stuff envelopes, do creative writing, or participate in a periodic phone-a-thon... the Foundation has something for you!

As you are thinking about giving back in ways other than a donation, I invite you to consider volunteering for the Foundation. As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “It is one of the most beautiful compensations of life that no one can sincerely try to help another without helping themselves.” When you volunteer, you will discover exactly that - you will not only be helping the Foundation and the community, you will in fact be helping yourself.
