General Surgeons

Samuel Heiser, MD, completed his undergraduate degree at Wabash College and received his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Dr. Heiser is board certified in general surgery.

Jennifer Zyromski, MD, completed her residency from the Medical College of Ohio and received her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She has since worked as an assistant professor for the Department of Surgery at Indiana University of Medicine as well as a general surgeon at Witham Health Services, Lebanon. Dr. Zyromski is board certified in general surgery.

Douglas Rex, DO, completed his residency from Grandview Hospital and Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio where he also completed his internship in general surgery. He has since worked as a general surgeon performing general and advanced laparoscopic surgical procedures at Westview Hospital, Indianapolis and Marion General Hospital, Marion. Dr. Rex is board eligible in general surgery.
