Riverview Hospital and Walgreens have partnered to make it easier for patients to get their prescriptions filled before going home. The patient simply completes a form that our nursing staff faxes to Walgreens. Walgreens then delivers the medication(s) to the patient’s bedside before discharge. Walgreens also assists with patient education on new medications. If the patient needs durable medical equipment and wished to purchase it from Walgreens, it can also also be delivered to the bedside for patient convenience.
