Boards and Councils

Board of Directors

The Riverview Hospital Foundation's Board of Directors is responsible for developing policy and working with the Foundation’s executive staff to implement it.

Directors have the opportunity to express their views on philanthropy and/or the Foundation’s mission in many social and business activities. In addition, Directors report any helpful feedback from the community to assist our management in improving our services. Directors assist in soliciting philanthropic support to the Foundation. They also help recruit new Board and Philanthropy Council members. Each Director serves on a Philanthropy Council committee in order to keep actively involved in engaging members of the community.

100% of the Riverview Hospital Foundation Board of Directors gives to the Foundation.

ANNUAL SUPPORT COMMITTEE: The Annual Support Committee explores, reviews, recommends and assists in the implementation of programs intended to produce annual individual financial support for the Riverview Hospital Foundation’s Brick Layer Club.

COMMUNITY RELATIONS COMMITTEE: The Community Relations Committee explores, reviews, recommends and assists in programs designed to interpret the organization and its development program to its various publics and to best serve the health education needs of those publics. It focuses on increasing the number of people attending programs and volunteering with the organization.

MAJOR GIFTS COMMITTEE: The Major Gifts Committee establishes, maintains and strengthens the involvement and relationships with the top 100+ individual donors/prospects with the capacity to give $25,000 to the Foundation. This may also include major corporate donors/prospects.
