The Riverview Hospital Foundation created the Women of Vision Luncheon in 2005 to gather interesting and talented women to educate them about their health and inspire them to follow their dreams. The luncheon builds camaraderie amongst Hamilton County women, creates awareness about Riverview Hospital, and raises funds for women’s services, programs and equipment through the Women of Vision Giving Club.
Proceeds from the luncheon will be directed toward our ‘Heart of Your Community’ Capital Campaign. Heart attacks are the #1 killer of women and men in Indiana. 36% of deaths in Hamilton County are due to cardiovascular disease. To prevent and reduce this number, we are raising $4.6 million to buy lifesaving technology.
Susan Hunter, 2010 Keynote SpeakerThis year’s keynote speaker will be Susan Hunter. Her presentation will focus on how our needs and the needs of our families change throughout the phases of our lives. Certain milestones mark the path of our life’s journey. Learn how to use these milestones as markers in making plans for your future and the future of your loved ones. Legal planning is an important element as you travel your path. . . What should you do and when should you do it? . . . When should I write a Will? . . . How do I care for my parents as they age? . . . Relevant to every age and phase of life, get your checklist and learn to be prepared at every stage.
